Regular Season Round 19: Fiorentina - Milano Urania 71-82

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Fiorentina (6-13) lost to fifth ranked Milano Urania (12-6) in Firenze 71-82 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for power forward Thomas De Min (203-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Emanuele Di Giacomo (203-94) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Matteo Caroli (-95) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for Fiorentina. Four Milano Urania and five Fiorentina players scored in double figures. Milano Urania have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place in B with 12-6 record. Newly promoted Fiorentina keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Milano Urania will face higher ranked Bergamo (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fiorentina will play against the league's leader Udine APU (#1) and hope to win that game.
