Regular Season Round 21: GKS Tychy - Krosno 51-90

An interesting game for Krosno (20-1) which played road game in Tychy against 4th placed GKS Tychy (14-7). First ranked Krosno had an easy win 90-51. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of GKS Tychy. Krosno forced 24 GKS Tychy turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by GKS Tychy's players. Swingman Filip Malgorzaciak (192-93) stepped up and scored 21 points for the winners and forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Krosno players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Karol Szpyrka (182-87) with 10 points and 5 assists and power forward Tomasz Bzdyra (200-83) scored 7 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Krosno have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-1 record. GKS Tychy at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Krosno will play against Slask 2 Wroclaw (#14) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. GKS Tychy will play against Znicz Basket (#5) in Pruszkow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
