Regular Season Round 34: Soles - Correcaminos 90-60

LNBP top team - Soles (29-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Correcaminos (10-19) in Mexicali 90-60. Soles dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Correcaminos' 26. They outrebounded Correcaminos 41-30 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington) notched 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Chane Behanan (198-92, college: Louisville) supported him with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Soles players scored in double figures. Soles' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 29 points by American swingman Brandon Davis (198-88, college: Lamar, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Correcaminos. His fellow American import Theron Laudermill (202-89, college: CS San Bernar.) added 11 points for lost side. Soles maintains first position with 29-3 record. Correcaminos lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 19 games lost. Soles will play against Fuerza Regia (#3) in Monterrey in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Correcaminos will play at home against Panteras (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
