Very expected game when 8th ranked Spojnia (9-12) lost to third ranked Legia W-wa (15-6) in Warszawa 77-92 on Sunday. Legia W-wa made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Power forward Marcel Wilczek (204-86, agency: Promotex) nailed 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Lukasz Wilczek (190-86) accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. Four Legia W-wa players scored in double figures. Guard Lukasz Pacocha (185-82) came up with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and center Karol Pytys (202-85) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Spojnia in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Legia W-wa maintains third place with 15-6 record having five points less than leader Krosno. Spojnia lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Nysa Klodzko and Rosa II Radom.
