Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Santfeliuenc (9-7) beat on the road 6th ranked Andorra II (6-10) 74-66 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 41-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Santfeliuenc forced 21 Andorra II turnovers. Strangely Andorra II outrebounded Santfeliuenc 47-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. Andorra II was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Canadian forward Bruce Komakech (204-91, college: Davis & Elkins) fired 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Lluis Molina (190-85) chipped in 16 points. Five Santfeliuenc players scored in double figures. Senegalese center Wally Niang (206-96) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and Andorra forward Hugo Bartolome (198-98) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Santfeliuenc have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group C-B, which they share with Igualada. Loser Andorra II keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Santfeliuenc will face Martorell (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Andorra II will play against Pardinyes-L. (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
