Eighth ranked Spartak-Prim. (8-7) crushed at home 13th ranked Izhevsk (2-13) by 24 points 94-70, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. Spartak-Prim. forced 20 Izhevsk turnovers and outrebounded them 49-38 including 20 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Vladislav Trushkin (201-93) fired 15 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Maksim Branitsky chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Spartak-Prim.'s coach Evgeni Kisurin felt very confident that he used entire bench saving starting five for next games. Forward Igor Samsonov (202-89) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and forward Roman Khamitov (199-84) added 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Spartak-Prim. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to seventh place. Izhevsk lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Spartak-Prim. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Izhevsk will play against MBA Moscow (#9) and hope to secure a win.
