There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Valmontone (6-13) edged on the road higher ranked Porto S.Elpidio (8-11) 66-65 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for the former international power forward Luca Bisconti (206-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Marco Reali (188-95) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92) answered with 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Diego Torresi (200-92) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Porto S.Elpidio. Valmontone moved-up to twelfth place in B, which they share with Padova and Fiorentina. Loser Porto S.Elpidio dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Valmontone will face higher ranked Falconara (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
