Leader Olympiacos delivered the fifteenth victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 14th ranked Arkadikos (3-13) 103-60 in Arkadia. The game without a history. Olympiacos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Arkadikos' 30. They outrebounded Arkadikos 39-27 including 32 on the defensive glass. Olympiacos looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Arkadikos' players. Worth to mention a quality performance of American-Belgian guard Matt Lojeski (198-85, college: Hawaii, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and American point guard Darius Johnson-Odom (187-89, college: Marquette, agency: Beo Basket) who added 12 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four Olympiacos players scored in double figures. At the losing side Dutch-British guard Devon Van Oostrum (190-93, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 12 points and 5 assists and Finnish forward Matti Nuutinen (200-90, agency: Blacktop Management) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympiacos (15-1) have an impressive 14-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position, which they share with Panathinaikos. Arkadikos lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Olympiacos will meet at home PAOK (#5) in the next round. Arkadikos will play against AGOR (#12) in Rethymno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
