An interesting game for Corinthians/Americana (8-2) which played road game in Recife against 3rd placed America de Recife (8-2). First ranked Corinthians/Americana managed to get a 6-point victory 70-64. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But America de Recife won third quarter 20-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
