Regular Season Round 18: Cieszyn - Wisla Krakow 61-87

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when tenth ranked Wisla Krakow (5-12) outleveled on the road 9th ranked Cieszyn (7-11) 87-61 on Saturday. Wisla Krakow dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Cieszyn's 24. The best player for the winners was guard Rafal Zglobicki (196-94) who scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Kamil Kamecki (200-87) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Michal Kuboszek (178-96) who recorded 13 points and forward Lukasz Ochodek (197-82) added 16 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wisla Krakow maintains tenth position in Group C with 5-12 record. Cieszyn lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 11 games lost. Wisla Krakow will face higher ranked AZS PS Gliwice (#4) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
