Very predictable result when second ranked Quintanar (11-3) won against at home 11th ranked Casvi (5-9) 81-71 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 49-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Chadian center Placide Nakidjim (205-94) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Cuban point guard Taylor Garcia (182-87) contributed with 23 points and 5 assists for the winners. Five Quintanar players scored in double figures. Quintanar's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Jorge Sanchez (198-94) answered with 16 points and forward Eduardo Gomez (197-95) added 14 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Casvi.
