Very predictable result when sixth ranked EWE Baskets (14-6) rolled over bottom-ranked Mitteldeutscher BC (2-18) in Oldenburg 103-81. The game without a history. EWE Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Mitteldeutscher BC to just 4 points in second quarter. EWE Baskets players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Mitteldeutscher BC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Slovenian guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) who scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American Vaughn Duggins (190-87, college: Wright St.) chipped in 18 points.
