Regular Season Round 35: Bambitious Nara - Hamamatsu P. 57-68

Very expected game when 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (9-19) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (21-8) 68-57 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Hamamatsu Phoenix. Bambitious Nara was better in second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hamamatsu Phoenix made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American guard Kejuan Johnson (193-85, college: Long Beach St., agency: Inception Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. His fellow American import forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) helped adding 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Hamamatsu Phoenix's coach Tomoya Higashino used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Charles Hinkle (196-88, college: American) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Tatsuya Suzuki (169-91) scored 11 points and 4 assists. Hamamatsu Phoenix maintains fourth place with 21-8 record. Bambitious Nara lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 19 games lost. Hamamatsu Phoenix will have a break next round. Bambitious Nara will play again at home against Hamamatsu Phoenix (#4) and hope to win that game.
