Regular Season Round 26: Kongsberg - Ammerud Bskt 76-78

The most exciting game of round 26 in the BLNO took place in Kongsberg. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd ranked Kongsberg (11-6) to first ranked Ammerud Bskt (14-3) 78-76 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Kongsberg. The guests trailed by 14 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-76. American forward Ronald Timus (196-84, college: Morgan St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Samuel Amed Diomande (193-88) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American guard Brandon Boggs (196-92, college: W.Carolina) replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds and guard Oivind Lundestad (194-91, college: Point Loma) added 17 points in the effort for Kongsberg. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ammerud Bskt maintains first position with 14-3 record. Newly promoted Kongsberg dropped to the fourth place with six games lost. Ammerud Bskt are looking forward to face Tromso (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kongsberg will have a break next round.
