Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Crema (14-6) outplayed on the road 9th ranked Varese Coels. (8-12) 82-54 on Saturday. They outrebounded Varese Coels. 37-22 including 27 on the defensive glass. Point guard Luca Montanari (181-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Gabriele Zanella (204-81) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Four Crema players scored in double figures. Swingman Filippo Rovera (190-86) replied with 13 points and point guard Marco Santambrogio (188-88) added 10 points and 5 assists in the effort for Varese Coels.The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Crema maintains fourth position in B with 14-6 record. Loser Varese Coels. keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost.
