An interesting game for Soles (32-3) which played road game in Monterrey against 3rd ranked Fuerza Regia (19-14). First ranked Soles managed to get a 14-point victory 85-71. Soles players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Chane Behanan (198-92, college: Louisville) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and British center Aaron Geramipoor (213-92, college: Seton Hall) who added 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Soles players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Daniel Orton (208-90, college: Kentucky) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Fuerza Regia's coach Jose Martinez Boglio rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Soles have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 32-3 record. Fuerza Regia lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with 14 games lost. Soles will play against Abejas (#6) in Guanajuato in the next round where they are favorite. Fuerza Regia will play on the road against Panteras in Aguascalientes and hopes to get back on the winning track.
