We should mention about the upset which took place in Coruna, where higher ranked Palma (11-9) lost to tenth ranked Leyma Basquet (10-10) in a road game 81-91 on Sunday. Palma was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 25-13 charge of Leyma Basquet, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Zach Monaghan (188-92, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) who scored 22 points and 4 assists. Center Sergio Olmos (213-86, college: Temple) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Leyma Basquet players scored in double figures. Point guard Mikel Uriz (182-89) produced 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (207-76, agency: Duran International) added 22 points respectively for the guests. Leyma Basquet moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Palma lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with nine games lost.
