Very important is a road loss of third ranked U-Banca TR (14-7) against sixth ranked Craiova (13-8) on Wednesday night. Visiting U-Banca TR was defeated by Craiova in Craiova 91-81. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American guard Darius Hargrove (194-82, college: Virginia Union) stepped up and scored 27 points for the winners and his fellow American import forward Travis Bureau (202-88, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Craiova players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian forward Branko Jorovic (204-81, agency: Beo Basket) with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American Kyndall Dykes (192-87, college: New Orleans) scored 19 points and 4 assists. Craiova moved-up to fifth place, which they share with CSU Sibiu. U-Banca TR at the other side dropped to the second position with seven games lost. They share it with Targu Mures and Steaua CSM. Craiova will play against Phoenix Galati (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. U-Banca TR will play against Targu Mures (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
