There was no surprise in Beer Sheva where 10th ranked Hap.R/G Givat. (6-11) was defeated by fourth ranked Hapoel B/S (12-5) 89-81. Hapoel B/S dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Hap.R/G Givat.'s 28 and made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Hapoel B/S players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American power forward Keith Clanton (205-90, college: Cent.Florida) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Paul Marigney (192-82, college: St.Mary's, CA) accounted for 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
