Regular Season Round 20: AZS Koszalin - Siarka 87-78

Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked AZS Koszalin (11-11) defeated at home 14th ranked Stabill (4-16) 87-78 on Thursday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 28-20. But Stabill won second period 22-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Czech Patrik Auda (206-89, college: Seton Hall) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Czech power forward Adam Pechacek (207-95) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Kacper Mlynarski (202-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and American center Zach Robbins (208-91, college: Dixie St.) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Stabill. Five Stabill players scored in double figures. AZS Koszalin maintains eighth position with 11-11 record, which they share with Wilki Morskie. Stabill lost tenth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth place with 16 games lost. AZS Koszalin will face higher ranked Anwil (#4) in Wloclawek in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Stabill will play at home against PGE Turow (#11) and hope to win that game.
