There was no surprise when 8th ranked Hap.Petah Tikva (3-17) was defeated on the road by second ranked Bnot Hertzeliya (15-5) 74-62. Bnot Hertzeliya players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Keisha Hampton (187-90, college: De Paul, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Guard Jasmine Thomas (175-89, college: Duke) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Bnot Hertzeliya players scored in double figures. Bnot Hertzeliya's coach Gilad Katz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Janae Smith (188-92, college: UAB) replied with 26 points and 9 rebounds and guard Brittany Hrynko (173-93, college: De Paul) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Hap.Petah Tikva. Bnot Hertzeliya have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 15-5 record having just three points less than leader Maccabi R.Hen, which they share with Maccabi Ashdod.
