Regular Season Round 27: Ammerud Bskt - Tromso 101-95

The game between Top Four teams took place in Oslo. First ranked host Ammerud Bskt (15-3) defeated 3rd placed Tromso (11-6) 101-95. Tromso was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 33-22 third quarter run of Ammerud Bskt. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Tromso was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American-Somalian point guard Zaki Ise Mohamed (183-87, college: New Hampshire) who led the winners and scored 26 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. American forward Ronald Timus (196-84, college: Morgan St.) accounted for 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Mohamed is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Ammerud Bskt players scored in double figures. Ammerud Bskt's coach Kelvin Woods allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Charlie Lee (175-92, college: Cleveland St.) came up with 34 points (!!!) and 6 assists and Bulgarian guard Kiril Raykov (192-87) added 24 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Tromso in the defeat. Ammerud Bskt maintains first place with 15-3 record. Tromso at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Kongsberg. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
