Regular Season Round 22: ETB Wohnbau - Finke Baskets 64-67

Important game to mention about took place in Essen. Fourteenth ranked Finke Baskets (7-15) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 13th ranked ETB Wohnbau (7-15) 67-64 in the fight for the thirteenth place. The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 67-64. ETB Wohnbau was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Nick Schneiders (221-84, college: USC Upstate) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Matt Vest (196-92, college: Wright St.) chipped in 12 points during the contest. At the losing side American forward Stanford Brown (204-90, college: Lamar) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Tre Bowman (196-91, college: Iona) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Finke Baskets moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with defeated ETB Wohnbau. ETB Wohnbau lost fifth consecutive game. Finke Baskets will face higher ranked Koeln Rh.Stars (#10) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
