Second Stage Round 6: Mazeikiai - Palanga 84-61

The game between third ranked Mazeikiai (22-9) and 6th ranked Palanga (17-14) in Mazeikiai ended with biggest points difference. Mazeikiai outscored guests from Palanga 84-61. The game without a history. Mazeikiai led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Mazeikiai maintains third position with 22-9 record having four points less than leader Suduva-Mantinga. Palanga lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with 14 games lost. Mazeikiai's next round opponent will be Zalgiris II (#5) in Kaunas. Palanga will play at home against the league's second-placed Vytis and hope to win that game.
