The game in Nitra supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Esprit Kosice (20-11) played at the court of 8th ranked Nitra (6-24). Esprit Kosice smashed Nitra 106-69 on Saturday. Esprit Kosice dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Nitra's 34. Esprit Kosice forced 24 Nitra turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Esprit Kosice have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Esprit Kosice maintains fifth place with 20-11 record. Nitra lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 24 games lost. Esprit Kosice will meet at home higher ranked Rieker KN (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
