Leader Soles delivered the 34th victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Abejas (14-20) 93-88 in Mexicali. Soles dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Abejas' 54. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Abejas' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Soles made 10 blocks. British center Aaron Geramipoor (213-92, college: Seton Hall) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Roman Martinez (201-88, college: N.Mexico) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American forward Sammy Yeager (193-89, college: CS Fullerton) responded with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import forward Travis Franklin (200-88, college: Colorado St.) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds.
