Regular Season Round 21: CFBB - GET Vosges 38-83

Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 22th consecutive match to seventh ranked GET Vosges (12-9) 83-38 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. GET Vosges led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding CFBB to just 6 points in fourth quarter. GET Vosges dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 22. GET Vosges forced 21 CFBB turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by CFBB's players. Serbian guard Nemanja Marinkovic (187-88) nailed 16 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and forward Steven Ricard (200-90) accounted for 19 points. GET Vosges' coach Laurent Mathis felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Yanik Blanc (184-99) came up with 6 points and 8 rebounds and forward Ivan Fevrier (200-99) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for CFBB in the defeat. GET Vosges maintains seventh place with 12-9 record. Loser CFBB still closes the standings. GET Vosges will meet at home Mulhouse Basket (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. CFBB will play against Quimper UJAP (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
