Second Stage Round 6: Vytis - Perlas-MRU 80-63

An interesting game for Vytis (24-7) which hosted in Sakiai 4th ranked Perlas-MRU (18-14). Second ranked Vytis had an easy win 80-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Perlas-MRU. The game without a history. Vytis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. It was a good game for forward Karolis Brusokas (200-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Dominykas Domarkas (187-92) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Vytis players scored in double figures. Forward Remigijus Sugintas (200-87) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Tomas Galeckas (184-94) added 10 points in the effort for Perlas-MRU. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vytis have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 24-7 record having just two points less than leader Suduva-Mantinga. Perlas-MRU at the other side keeps the fourth place with 14 games lost. Vytis are looking forward to face Palanga (#6) on the road in the next round. Perlas-MRU will have a break next round.
