Everything went according to plan when second ranked Shimane Magic (25-9) outscored on the road 11th ranked Takamatsu FA (8-24) 82-56. They outrebounded Takamatsu FA 41-26 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Forward Josh Davis (203-91, college: San Diego St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) contributed with 23 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners. Forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and forward Nino Johnson (206-93, college: SE Missouri St.) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Takamatsu FA.
