Regular Season Round 34: Nova Ves - Levice 86-91

Bottom-ranked Nova Ves is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 30th consecutive match to fourth ranked Levice (22-8) 91-86. Levice dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Nova Ves' 36. 29 personal fouls committed by Nova Ves helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Jeremy Granger (185-90, college: E.Illinois) fired 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The other American import forward George Valentine (203-88, college: Winthrop, agency: Mansfield and Associates) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Five Levice players scored in double figures. Guard Daniel Lenart (188-88) produced 25 points and swingman Vladimir Hovanak (193-82) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Levice have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Nova Ves at the other side still closes the standings. Levice's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Inter Bratislava on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nova Ves will play against Nitra (#8) in Nitra and look forward to get finally their first victory.
