No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Hapoel B/S (13-5) beat 9th ranked Hapoel Migd.H. (7-11) in Tarshicha 69-58 on Tuesday. Hapoel B/S outrebounded Hapoel Migd.H. 47-34 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. American power forward Keith Clanton (205-90, college: Cent.Florida) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 18 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Paul Marigney (192-82, college: St.Mary's, CA) supported him with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Even 19 points and 9 rebounds by Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) did not help to save the game for Hapoel Migd.H.. Guard Alan Skverer (-93) added 5 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Hapoel B/S moved-up to third place, which they share with Hapoel G/A. Loser Hapoel Migd.H. dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Ramat Hasharon and Hapoel K/S. Hapoel B/S will meet at home Elitzur Yavne (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
