Regular Season Round 22: Sodertalje - Uppsala 75-56

Leader Sodertalje Kings delivered the twenty second victory on Tuesday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Uppsala Basket (11-15) 75-56. The game was mostly controlled by Sodertalje Kings. Uppsala Basket managed to win third quarter 14-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sodertalje Kings dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Uppsala Basket's 24. Naturalized British center Nicholas Spires (210-94) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Chris Czerapowicz (201-91, college: Davidson, agency: Two Points) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Sodertalje Kings players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Alexander Lindqvist (205-91) responded with 15 points and swingman Axel Nordstrom (193-91) scored 4 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sodertalje Kings (22-2) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. Loser Uppsala Basket keeps the seventh place with 15 games lost. Sodertalje Kings will meet at home league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Uppsala Basket will play against Eco Orebro (#10) and hope to secure a win.
