Regular Season Round 22: Angers BC - Berck 80-66

Very expected game when 15th ranked Berck (8-14) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Angers BC (11-11) 80-66. The game was mostly controlled by Angers BC. Berck was better in third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Cedrick Williams (206-92, college: NC-Wilmington) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. The other American import forward Darnell Dodson (201-89, college: S.Mississippi) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American-Jamaican forward Justin Rutty (200-89, college: Quinnipiac) replied with 13 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Valentin Estienne (180-94) added 8 points, 8 assists and 5 steals in the effort for Berck. Angers BC moved-up to eighth place, which they share with La Rochelle and Quimper. Berck lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth position with 14 games lost. Angers BC's next round opponent will be La Rochelle (#10) at home. Berck will play against Vitre (#17) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
