Regular Season Round 22: Falconara - Mola 96-66

There was no surprise when 16th ranked Mola (4-18) was crushed on the road by third ranked Falconara (18-4) 96-66 on Wednesday. Falconara outrebounded Mola 37-24 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Mola's players. Swingman Simone Pozzetti (193-90) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. Center Giacomo Eliantonio (206-88) chipped in 20 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Emanuele Musci (200-92) produced 12 points and 6 rebounds and forward Antonello Pavone (197-95) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Falconara maintains third position in B with 18-4 record behind leader Forli, which they share with Bergamo. Loser Mola keeps the sixteenth place with 18 games lost. Falconara will face Martina Franca (#15) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Mola will play against Porto S.Elpidio and hope to win that game.
