We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked Casalpusterlengo (11-11) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Lighthouse TR (11-11) 72-61 on Thursday. American point guard Keddric Mays (183-84) fired 19 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Nigerian-American swingman Stan Okoye (197-91, college: VMI) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. Four Lighthouse TR players scored in double figures. Power forward Mitchell Poletti (205-88) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Kyle Austin (203-88, college: Cal-Riverside, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Lighthouse TR moved-up to seventh place in A2. Lighthouse TR will face Viola RC (#14) in Reggio Calabria in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Casalpusterlengo will play on the road against Omegna (#15) and hope to win that game.
