Regular Season Round 20: TLU/Kalev - Tarvas 104-103

The most exciting game of round 20 in the Alexela KML took place in Tallinn. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked BC Rakvere (9-10) to fourth ranked TLU/Kalev (12-8) 104-103 in the game for the fourth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Rakvere. TLU/Kalev made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 BC Rakvere turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by BC Rakvere helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Canadian guard Johnny Berhanemeskel (188-92, agency: Two Points) saved the victory by scoring 39 points (!!!). Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) contributed with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) replied with 28 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and swingman Rannar Raap (191-92) added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for BC Rakvere. Five TLU/Kalev and four BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. TLU/Kalev maintains fourth position with 12-8 record. BC Rakvere at the other side keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. TLU/Kalev will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BC Rakvere will play at home against TTU (#8) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
