Very predictable result when fourth ranked Cassino (16-7) rolled over at home 14th ranked Isernia (4-19) 120-66 on Saturday. Cassino dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Isernia's 32 and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Isernia 50-24 including a 39-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Cassino looked well-organized offensively handing out 39 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Isernia's players. Guard Daniele Grilli (191-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Luca Ianes (203-80, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Cassino players scored in double figures. Cassino's coach Luca Vettese felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Alberto Fiorentino (206-92) answered with 8 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Alessandro Guagliardi (194-94) added 16 points in the effort for Isernia. Cassino maintains fourth place in B with 16-7 record. Loser Isernia keeps the fourteenth position with 19 games lost.
