We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Logrono where 8th ranked Valladolid Univ. (6-9) was defeated by ninth ranked Clavijo (6-9) 96-85 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Clavijo. Valladolid Univ. was better in third quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Clavijo moved-up to eighth place in Group A-A, which they share with defeated Valladolid Univ. Valladolid Univ. lost their third game in a row. Clavijo will face Mondragon (#11) on the road in the next round.
