An interesting game took place in Kloszko where 7th ranked Astoria Bydg. (12-12) was upset on the court of tenth ranked Nysa Klodzko (11-14) 72-67 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Astoria Bydg.. Nysa Klodzko looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Point guard Marcin Kowalski (175-82) fired 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Swingman Tomasz Stepien (192-86) chipped in 18 points (made all of his seven free throws). Four Nysa Klodzko players scored in double figures. Piotr Robak (194-91) produced 29 points and Dorian Szyttenholm (193-83, agency: Promotex) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Nysa Klodzko moved-up to eighth place. Loser Astoria Bydg. keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. Nysa Klodzko will meet SKK Siedlce (#10) on the road in the next round. Astoria Bydg. will play against Biofarm PZN and hope to secure a win.
