Regular Season Round 19: Yulon Luxgen - Dacin Tigers 90-96

An exciting game was when third ranked Third ranked Dacin Tigers faced 4th placed Yulon Luxgen. Dacin Tigers (14-9) defeated Yulon Luxgen (12-12) 96-90. Dacin Tigers was already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 27-22 Yulon Luxgen's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 96-90 at the end of the game. Strangely Yulon Luxgen outrebounded Dacin Tigers 57-38 including a 27-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American-New Zealand center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds. The former international point guard Kuan-Lun Lin (187-84) contributed with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Dacin Tigers players scored in double figures. Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech, agency: Worldwide Career Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds and international Po-Chen Chou (196-90) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Yulon Luxgen. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dacin Tigers maintains third place with 14-9 record having just one point less than leader Pure Youth. Yulon Luxgen at the other side keeps the fourth position with 12 games lost. Dacin Tigers will play against league's second-placed Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yulon Luxgen will play against KKL and hopes to get back on the winning track.
