Regular Season Round 40: Bambitious Nara - Takamatsu FA 69-54

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Takamatsu FA's (9-25) road loss to ninth ranked Bambitious Nara (14-22) 54-69 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a very good performance for point guard Tatsuya Suzuki (169-91) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 assists. American Josh Ritchart (206, college: Cal-Davis) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Bambitious Nara's coach Eto Kohei used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) replied with 13 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Nino Johnson (206-93, college: SE Missouri St.) added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Takamatsu FA. Bambitious Nara moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Fukuoka Rizing. Loser Takamatsu FA keeps the tenth position with 25 games lost. Bambitious Nara will face league's leader Kyoto Hannar. on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Takamatsu FA will play against Osaka Evessa (#3) and hope to win that game.
