There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Vicenza (13-10) lost on the road to tenth ranked Padova (9-14) 74-67 on Sunday. Forward Enrico Crosato (194-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Marco Lazzaro (198-92) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Padova players scored in double figures. Point guard Marco Pasqualin (178-97) answered with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Claudio Nobile (206-82) added 3 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Vicenza. Newly promoted Padova maintains tenth place in B with 9-14 record. Vicenza at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Padova will face Volpino (#12) on the road in the next round.
