Regular Season Round 20: Zaglebie - MCKiS Jaworz. 66-74

There was no surprise in Sosnowiec where 5th ranked Zaglebie (10-10) was defeated by third ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (15-5) 74-66 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Tomasz Bryzek (195-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and guard Dawid Grochowski (190-89) who added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four MCKiS Jaworz. players scored in double figures. Swingman Kamil Wojciak (193-85) responded with 24 points and power forward Jakub Czyz (205-95) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). MCKiS Jaworz. maintains third position in Group C with 15-5 record having just three points less than leader AZS AGH Alstom. Loser Zaglebie keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. MCKiS Jaworz. will face Cieszyn (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Zaglebie will play against AZS PCz (#7) in Czestochowa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
