Regular Season Round 20: Bnei Hertzeliyya - Maccabi K/G 88-84
Date: February 22, 2016
No shocking result in a game in Hod Hasharon where fifth ranked Bnei Hasharon (11-9) defeated bottom-ranked Maccabi K/G (6-14) 88-84 on Monday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Maccabi K/G was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Bnei Hasharon made 25-of-27 free shots (92.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Senegalese center Hamady N'Diaye (212-87, college: Rutgers) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). American point guard Paul Delaney (188-86, college: UAB, agency: Three Eye Sports) produced 22 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals and his fellow American import power forward Marco Killingsworth (203-82, college: Indiana) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Bnei Hasharon and four Maccabi K/G players scored in double figures. Bnei Hasharon moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Maccabi K/G dropped to the bottom position with 14 games lost. Bnei Hasharon will face Maccabi Ashdod (#6) at home in the next round. Maccabi K/G will play against the league's leader Hapoel Jerusalem (#1) and hope to win that game.
