Very important is a road loss of third ranked Jarfalla (7-5) against seventh ranked Taby Basket (5-8) on Tuesday night. Visiting Jarfalla was defeated by Taby Basket in Taby 87-73. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-73. Taby Basket outrebounded Jarfalla 51-35 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Marcus Friman who led the winners and scored 28 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Kevin Taylor Lundgren (185-94) accounted for 13 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side. Four Taby Basket players scored in double figures. Center Leonard Halling-Ibo (200-92) came up with 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Joeffrey Masabe Paulsson (186-90) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Jarfalla in the defeat. Jarfalla's coach Bjorn Hjalmarsson rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taby Basket have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place in BEHN forts. Loser Jarfalla keeps the third position with five games lost. Taby Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Jarfalla will play against the league's leader Alvik Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
