Regular Season Round 19: Hapoel Kazrin - Galil Gilboa 72-95

National League top team - Galil Gilboa (16-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Hapoel Kazrin (6-13) 95-72. Galil Gilboa dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Hapoel Kazrin's 38. Galil Gilboa forced 22 Hapoel Kazrin turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a quality performance for American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-91, college: Akron) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Point guard Joaquin Shuchman (191-95) accounted for 9 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals for the winning side. American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Rum Cornelius (197-93) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Hapoel Kazrin in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Galil Gilboa have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 16-3 record. Hapoel Kazrin at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Hap.R/G Givat. and Elitzur Yavne. Galil Gilboa will play against league's second-placed Ironi Kiryat Ata at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hapoel Kazrin will play against Hap.R/G Givat.
