Regular Season Round 24: Svendborg - SISU 98-79

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Svendborg (15-10) smashed at home bottom-ranked SISU (3-22) 98-79 on Wednesday. Svendborg dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to SISU's 32. They outrebounded SISU 46-23 including a 16-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Svendborg looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) who had a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists. The other American import forward Darious Moten (198-92, college: Mercer) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. Five Svendborg players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American Maurice Creek (196-90, college: G.Washington, agency: CGL Sports) who recorded 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and international forward Frederik Rungby (199-93) added 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. SISU's coach Alain Pierre Attallah rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Svendborg have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 15-10 record. SISU lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 22 lost games. Svendborg will meet at home league's second-placed Bakken in the next round and it may be the game of the week. SISU will play against the league's leader Horsens IC (#1) and hope to secure a win.
