The game in Randers supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Naestved (16-10) played at the court of 6th ranked Randers (8-17). Naestved smashed Randers 105-56 on Thursday. The game without a history. Naestved led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Randers to just 6 points in third quarter. Naestved dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Randers' 30 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Randers 50-25 including a 37-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Naestved looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Randers' players. The best player for the winners was American guard Caleb Walker (193-89, college: Nebraska) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The other American import forward Darris Santee (203-87, college: UNLV) chipped in 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Five Naestved players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Belizean point guard Charles Burgess (186-84, college: Texas Tech) who recorded 13 points and Latvian point guard Reno Silavs (180-91) added 11 points respectively. Randers' coach Morten Hansen gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Naestved maintains third position with 16-10 record having five points less than leader Horsens IC. Randers lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 17 games lost. Naestved will meet at home Horsholm (#5) in the next round. Randers will play against Stevnsgade and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
