No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (13-12) beat bottom-ranked KKL (4-21) 73-64 on Friday. Yulon Luxgen took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-17. But KKL won second period 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech, agency: Worldwide Career Management) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 18 rebounds and the former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) supported him with 23 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Even a double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds by American center Kyle Barone (208-89, college: Idaho) did not help to save the game for KKL. Guard Yu-Hsuan Sung (183-89) added 14 points and 7 rebounds for Yulon Luxgen. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Yulon Luxgen maintains fourth position with 13-12 record. KKL lost tenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. Yulon Luxgen will meet league's second-placed Taiwan Beer in the next round and it may be the game of the week. KKL will play against Dacin Tigers (#3) and hope to secure a win.
