Everything went according to plan in Athens where tenth ranked Psyhiko (8-9) beat bottom-ranked Pefkohori (3-11) 81-76 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Psyhiko made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Pefkohori turnovers. Guard Giannis Dimakos (192-94) scored 16 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Vasilis Angelakopoulos (203-79) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Serbian guard Stefan Nikolic (193-87) with 19 points and 7 assists and forward Filippos Symeonidis (204-80, agency: Court Side) scored 20 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Psyhiko moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Livadia and Pagrati. Pefkohori lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Psyhiko will have a break next round. Pefkohori will play at home against the league's leader Faros (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
